NEW AMBASSADOR TO SPAIN

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan announces the appointment of Ms. Humaira Hasan as Ambassador of Pakistan to Spain . Her curriculum vitaé is as under:-

- Holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology.

- Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in March 1977.

- Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad:
Toronto (1987-91), Madrid (1991-94) & Bonn (1998-02).

- She has also served as Ambassador of Pakistan to Romania from 2003 to 2004.

- Served at the Headquarters as Section Officer (1978-80 & 1981-86) and Director (1986-87 & 1994-98).

- Also served as Director General at Headquarters (1998 & 2005-06).

- Presently she is serving as Additional Secretary at Headquarters since January 2007.

- She is married.
