LEBANESE PRIME MINISTER'S TELEPHONE CALL TO THE PRESIDENT AND PRIME MINISTER

The Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr. Fuad Siniora, telephoned the President and Prime Minister yesterday to express his government's support and solidarity with Pakistan in our ongoing efforts at combating terrorism and extremism, and in firmly addressing the challenges posed by these forces to Pakistan . Prime Minister Siniora conveyed his government's condolences and sympathies over the loss of a number of innocent lives in the recent suicide bombings in Pakistan .

The leaders discussed bilateral, regional and international issues. They expressed satisfaction at the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon and affirmed the resolve to continue their efforts at reinforcing and consolidating the bilateral relations in all fields.
