RELIEF GOODS FOR FLOOD AFFECTEES IN CHINA

The Government of Pakistan has announced assistance of relief goods for the people affected by severe floods in Southern parts of China . A C-130 carrying relief items will soon be sent to China .

Recent floods in China have caused widespread damage. More than 500 people have died and over 200,000 displaced. In a message to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has conveyed deep condolences of the Government and people of Pakistan over precious loss of lives and immense destruction caused to property from recent floods in China .
