MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS CONDEMNS THE FIRING ON A US CONSULATE VEHICLE  

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the incident of firing on a vehicle of the US Consulate in Peshawar today.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, police and provincial authorities are in contact with the US Consulate and the incident is being investigated. Steps for enhanced security have been taken.

The Government is committed to ensuring all possible measures for the security of the diplomatic community.
