CONDOLENCE MESSAGES TO DENMARK

Following are the condolence messages from the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to their Danish counterparts regarding the terrorist incidence outside the Danish Embassy:

Message from the President

Your Majesty,

On behalf of the people of Pakistan and my own behalf I wish to convey to Your Majesty our sentiments of deep grief and distress at the terrorist incident in Islamabad that has caused considerable damage to the Danish Embassy and resulted in the loss of precious human lives and injuries to innocent people.

We strongly condemn this act of terrorism, which has deeply troubled the entire nation.  I would like to assure you that this incident has further fortified our resolve to combat and eliminate the evil and dark forces that have unleashed senseless violence. We are also determined to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.

I wish to convey to you and the people of Denmark our sincere sympathies and regret.

Excellency,

I was deeply saddened by the terrorist incident, which took place outside the Embassy of Denmark in Islamabad today.  I would like to convey to you on my own behalf and on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan our deepest condolences. 

The loss of innocent human lives and the injuries sustained as a result of the terrorist attack is highly condemnable.  At the same time this would redouble our resolve not only to apprehend the culprits of this heinous act but also to continue on our avowed path to fight terrorism and extremism.

Message from the Foreign Minister

Excellency,

The terrorist incident that took place outside the Danish Embassy today in Islamabad which resulted in the loss of precious lives and injuries to many others is highly regrettable.  I would like to express my deep sympathies over the incident.

The Government of Pakistan has strongly condemned this wanton act of terrorism and offered its hear-felt condolences to those affected by this incident. 

Let me assure you that we will bring those responsible to justice and the incident will further strengthen our resolve in fighting extremism and terrorism.
