          The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi is leaving today for Kampala , ( Uganda ) to lead the Pakistan Delegation to the 35 th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), scheduled to be held on 18-20 June 2008.   

2.       The forthcoming session of the Council of Foreign Ministers will take place almost a year after the 34 th Session of the CFM held in Islamabad in May 2007 wherein Pakistan assumed the Chairmanship of the Council of Foreign Ministers. One of the major accomplishments during Pakistan 's Chairmanship of the CFM was the revision of the OIC Charter, which reflected the realities to meet the challenges of the 21 st Century. 

3.       At the 35 th Session of the Council, Pakistan will highlight the issue of Jammu and Kashmir . There will be a meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir , in which the True Representatives of the Kashmiri people will take part.
