THE NEW FOREIGN SECRETARY

Mr. Salman Bashir has assumed the responsibilities as the new Foreign Secretary today. Mr. Salman Bashir joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in February 1976. He had served as Pakistan 's Ambassador to China and Denmark . He had also served as Additional Foreign Secretary for Asia-Pacific region.
