FELICITATION MESSAGE TO THE PRIME MINISTER-DESIGNATE OF IRELAND

Following is text of the message of felicitations to the Prime Minister-designate of the Republic of Ireland by the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf I would like to extend to you sincere felicitation on your assumption of the office of Prime Minister of Ireland.

It is our earnest hope that with your long and distinguished career in public service and your able leadership, Ireland would continue to make impressive progress. I am also confident that the friendly relations, which so happily exist between our two countries and people, will further be strengthened to the mutual benefit of our two countries.
