CONDOLENCE MESSAGES TO THE UNION OF MYANMAR

Following is the text of condolence messages from the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Chairman (SPDC), and Head of State of Union of Myanmar and from the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar :-

I am deeply shocked and saddened on the news of the tragic loss of precious lives and colossal loss of property caused by the cyclone in your country.

The people of Pakistan join me in conveying our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and to those who have been affected by the natural calamity.

I am confident that the people of Myanmar will be able to overcome this adversity. The people of Pakistan join me in expressing their solidarity and support to the people of Myanmar in this hour of distress.

Our prayers and sympathies are with the bereaved families and all those affected by the natural disaster. We earnestly hope that the brave people of Myanmar will be able to cope with this calamity.
