Following is the text of condolence message from the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China..

Excellency,

On behalf of the people, the Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf I wish to express deep shock over the loss of precious lives due to severe earthquake that hit China yesterday.

I am confident that the great Chinese people will show courage, the will and determination to overcome this irreparable loss. I also wish to convey my deepest condolences and sympathies to the members of the bereaved families and the Chinese people.
