TUNISIAN AMBASSADOR CALLS ON FOREIGN MINISTER

The Ambassador of Tunisia in Pakistan H.E. Mr. Mourad Bourehla paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his office today. This was the first courtesy call by the Tunisian Ambassador after assuming the charge last month.

Welcoming the Tunisian Ambassador, the Foreign Minister highlighted excellent political and economic relations between Pakistan and Tunisia, stressing the need for further expansion of cooperation in the economic, banking and infrastructure development sectors. He assured the Ambassador of his full support to him in further enhancing bilateral ties between our two countries.

The Foreign Minister appreciated the Tunisian support to Pakistan on Kashmir at the international fora especially in the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

The Ambassador thanked the Foreign Minister for his warm welcome. He assured the Foreign Minister that he would make all possible efforts towards augmenting and strengthening our bilateral ties especially in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
