OMANI AMBASSADOR CALLS ON FOREIGN MINISTER QURESHI

The Omani Ambassador in Islamabad called on Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and delivered to him a letter from the Foreign Minister of Oman H.E Mr. Yousef Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah. The letter conveyed Oman’s decision to donate US$ 10 million towards relief and rehabilitation assistance to the dislocated population.  This amount is in addition to US$ 2 million being given by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to the UNHCR for its relief work.

The Foreign Minister requested the Omani Ambassador to convey our gratitude to the Government and the people of Oman for their humanitarian assistance which reflected strong fraternal bonds between our two countries.
