BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY’S VISIT TO PAKISTAN POSTPONED

 

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband telephoned Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi today to inform about the postponement of his visit to Pakistan from 10-12 June 2009, owing to important departmental responsibilities and parliamentary commitments in the United Kingdom.

The Foreign Secretary stated that Pakistan remains the top foreign policy priority for the United Kingdom.

New dates for the visit of Foreign Secretary Miliband will be worked out in the near future.
