Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has strongly condemned the two suicide blasts in Islamabad Islamic University. He expressed sorrow and grief at the casualties. 

The Foreign Minister said that by targeting innocent students - boys and girls- the terrorists have yet again demonstrated their anathema to education and our collective efforts to put Pakistan on the path of development and progress. He said that such barbaric, inhuman and un-Islamic terrorist acts only strengthen our resolve to fight terrorism with more vitality.

He expressed sympathy with the members of the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of those who were injured in the incident.
