ARF DEFENCE INSTITUTIONS DELEGATION CALL ON FOREIGN MINISTER QURESHI

Heads of Defence Universities/Colleges/Institutions who are attending the 12th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) meeting on Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW) being arranged by the National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad called on Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office today.

The Foreign Minister briefed them on the regional and international issues that are of major concern for Pakistan. He said Pakistan was promoting its relations with East Asian countries and had joined the important regional forums. The meeting of the military delegations from ARF countries was an important event which would promote harmony and understanding among the armed forces of the ARF member states.
