New Passport

Loss of Passport case

Note:
1) Issuance of passport in such cases is subject to verification from original issuing authority.
2) Third time lost:
i. Pakistan's Mission Abroad will issue emergency passport for return to Pakistan with an intimation to Dte Gen I&P.
ii. In Pakistan, the case will be referred to Dte Gen I&P for further action

You are advised to apply for business visa at least one week before the intended departure.

Additional requirements for business visa
  • Pakistani Counterpart Company’s invitation letter (company registered in Pakistan)/ Invitation letter from Business organization duly recommended by the concerned Trade Organization/Association in Pakistan.
Or
  • Reference letter from the Czech company (company registered in the Czech Republic)/ Recommendation letter from Czech Chamber of Commerce or other registered Chambers/Associations of the Czech Republic.
Or
  • Recommendation letter by Honorary Investment Counsellor of Board od Investment/Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Pakistan.
  • Additional requirements/documentation will be intimated to the applicants separately.

Mountaineering and Trekking Visa
 
 
 
Trekking: Trekking is defined as walking in the mountains below 6000 m. Most of the trekking routes lie in the northern mountains of the Hindukush, the Karakorams and the Himalayas. For most of the treks, trekking season is between May to October. Foreigners may trek anywhere in open zone without a permit (Visa is required).
Mountaineering:Permit is required for mountaineering before visa is issued. For information/rules, charges and permits for climbing peaks, please contact us or the following well in advance of the mountaineering expeditions:

Visiting Friends
 
  • Verifiable invitation letter from sponsor in Pakistan attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad or its Camp Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar or Quetta
  • Copy of Pakistani identification card of the sponsor with complete address and telephone number in Pakistan

 

Family Visa for Nationals of Pakistan Origin
 
  • Proof of Pakistani nationality -Applicant's Pakistan Origin Card (POC) / previous Pakistani Passport or Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)/ National Identification Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)
  • Parent's Pakistani Passport or Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)/National Identification Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) with detailed Birth Certificate.
  • Documents denouncing nationality are not acceptable.
  • Visa application(s) for under 18 years old applicants can only be submitted by their parents with following documents:
    • A request for issuance of visa signed by both the parents
    • Copy of parents' valid passport and photo ID
    • Original photo ID of the parents
Student Visa
 
  • Acceptance letter from University / College / School
  • Original degrees and transcripts along with verified photocopies  
  • Other relevant documents, as required at the time of application

NGO Visa
 
  • Letter from NGO Office in the Czech Republic and its Office in Pakistan
  • Copy of registration with Government of Pakistan
  • Government of Pakistan has introduced new Policy for regulation of International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) in Pakistan. In this regard, registration of all INGOs will be done through newly introduced electronic form available on https://ingo.interior.gov.pk/.
  • INGOs can also find the related guidelines on the above link for their renewal of registration and processing of the visas for foreign workers for Pakistan.

Business Visa
 
  • Pakistani counterpart's company letter/invitation letter (company registered in Pakistan).
  • Letter from the sending company (company registered in the Czech Republic)
  • Letter from employer, if different from sending company.

 
(Please note: Conversion of Business Visa into Work Visa has been discontinued)
 

Work Visa
 
  • Letter offering employment.
  • Letter of approval from Board of Investment (BOI) Pakistan. For details on Work Visa, please visit:

Journalist Visa
  • Journalists working with Czech Radio, TV, Newspapers & News Agencies should contact Consular Section with the following:
  • Copy of Registration / Press Card.
  • Original Letter from employer giving details and duration of assignment.
  • For documentary films please give full details with places for filming.
  • Additional documents if and as required.

Transit Visa
 
  • Transit visa is issued to those who are travelling to other countries while transiting Pakistan.
  • Applicants should produce the original air ticket up to the country of final destination including visas of destination country.
  • Transit visa is valid for 72 hours.
Visas for citizens of countries other than Czech Republic
 
  • Applicants holding passports other than Czech Republic passport can apply for visa if they have proof of permanent residence in the Czech Republic.
  • Those who have no evidence of residence in the Czech Republic or have a visit visa should apply for visa in their country of origin/residence.

KINDLY NOTE:

  • Passport should be valid for six months from travel date.
  • No column in the visa application form should be left blank. Incomplete forms will not

    be accepted. Supportive documents should be submitted, where indicated.

  • Militarypersonal should complete the additional information form attached with visa application form.   
  • Visa is liable to be cancelled if information requested in the form is withheld or found to be incorrect.
  • Proof of financial support may be required (Consular Section will inform the applicant when required).
  • Applicants could be asked to appear for an interview.
  • Czech Republic nationals not resident in the Czech Republic should apply for Visa in their respective countries of residence.
  • Nationals of other countries should apply for visa from their country of origin.
  • Visitors to Czech Republic are not entertained for grant of Visas.
  • Visa fee is subject to periodical revision without notice.
  • Visa fee is charged per person and not per passport.
  • Fee is only payable in cash against certified Embassy receipt (Please ensure that you have the original receipt for return of documents).
  • Personal cheques are not accepted

Poplatky
Poplatek za udeleni viza je treba uhradit v hotovosti na vizovem oddeleni velvyslanectvi. Prijimany jsou pouze americke dolary.
-          Turisticke / transitni vizum: 31 USD (jednorazove vizum platne 3 mesice), 61 USD (vizum pro opakovany vstup platne 1 rok)
-          Obchodni vizum: 46 USD (jednorazove vizum platne 3 mesice), 91 USD (vizum pro opakovany vstup platne 1 rok)
Splni-li zadatel vsechny pozadavky, vizum muze byt udeleno behem dvou pracovnich dnu. V pripadech, kde je potreba zadat o doplnujici informace apod., muze cely proces trvat dele.

National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)
 

NICOP is a registration document to be issued to a valid/legitimate citizen of Pakistan. Previously it was issued to overseas Pakistanis working/living/staying/studying abroad for consecutive time period of six months or possessing dual nationalities but now it can be issued to any citizen of Pakistan

 Documentation Requirements

1.  NICOP form (click here) duly completed in all respect. Form is also available at

2.  Two recent photographs (1.5"x2") with white background)
3.  Photocopy of B-Form/CRC/NIC/CNIC/NICOP own or any blood relative which
     includes: Father/Mother, Brother, Sister, Son & Daughter, Grandfather and
     Grandmother paternal (In case applicant is holding POC, original card must be
     surrendered by the applicant)
4.  Photocopy of valid Pakistani Passport. Foreign Passport (for Dual National only)

Pakistan Origin Card (POC)

POC program endeavors to provide eligible foreigners with unprecedented incentives to get back to their roots, while ensuring that the motherland remains tightly integrated with expatriates worldwide which includes:

  • Visa-free entry into Pakistan
  • Indefinite stay in Pakistan
  • Exemption from foreigner registration requirements
  • Permission to purchase and sell property
  • Right to open and operate bank accounts

Documentation Requirements

2. Two recent photographs (1.5"x2") with white background)
3. NIC/CNIC/NICOP wherever held (To be attached in original)
4. Photocopy/number of CNIC/NICOP of Blood relative in Pakistan

6. Marriage Certificate (for first time registration as married person)

Renunciation of Pakistani Citizenship

Requirements

 The following documents are required to be submitted:

  • Form "X" (click here) attested by Notari Public along with four photocopies
  • Original expired Pakistani passports with two photocopies of each
  • Two photocopies of valid Pakistani passport (Original passport would be taken once Renunciation Certificate is delivered to the appliant).
  • Original Pakistani identity card (NIC/NICOP/CNIC) with two photocopies
  • Assurance letter in original with two photocopies
  • English translation of Assurance letter with two photocopies
  • If you are not in possession of NIC/NICOP/CNIC, you will be required to submit a notarized declaration with two photocopies as well as its English translation two photocopies.
  • Six passport size photographs with blue background
  • Duly filled in Computerized Performa with one (1) photocopy


Fee

  • US$ 7/- to be paid in cash.
  • Children below 21 years and residing with the parent(s) may be endorsed in the father's Form. US$ 5/- fee is payable for each child.


Delivery

The Renunciation Certificates are prepared by the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, Islamabad. Upon receipt of the certificates the applicants are informed by the Embassy of Pakistan. The applicants have to collect the Certificates in person with their original passport.  The original passport will be retained bgy the Embassy.
