Pakistan’s new Ambassador arrives in Kuwait

Pakistan's new Ambassador to Kuwait, Syed Abrar Hussain arrived here on Saturday.
On arrival at Kuwait International Airport, he was received by  representatives from Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officers of the Pakistan Embassy.

Ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain enjoys extensive experience in diplomacy and international relations. During his illustrious career that spans over three decades, he served on various important positions.  He joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1983. He was Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal from 2008 to 2011, and worked in different capacities at several Pakistani Missions including Kuwait (1987-1989), Jeddah (1993-1995), Prague (1995-1997), Kandahar (1999-2001), Beirut (2001-2002) and Brunei (2005-2006). Before assuming his current assignment, he was acting as Director General (Afghanistan) at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He holds Master’s Degree in English. He is married with two children.
