Passports


Requirements for Issuance of Fresh Passport

  • Applicant should apply in person/through courier/through a friend/relative with authority letter from the applicant.
  • Applicant should be a resident of Tanzania.
  • Application on Form “A” (one copy filled in, signed and thumbed on both sides).
  • Three latest Passport size photographs having light blue background.
  • Computerized National Identity Card/NICOP (original + one copy)
  • Registration form “B”/RG-II for children under 18 years old (original + one copy)
  • Present Passport (Original + one copy)
  • Residential Permit of the country of stay (Original + one copy)
  • Fee US$ 32/- (Ordinary – to be delivered on the 14th Day)
  • Fee US$ 60/- (Urgent – to be delivered on the next working day)
  • Requirement for issuance of passport against Lost Passport

    • Application on Form “A” (one copy filled in, signed and thumbed on both sides).
    • Four latest passport size photographs having light blue background.
    • Computerized National Identity Card/NICOP (Original + one copy)
    • Copy of lost passport.
    • Registration form “B”/RG-II for children under 18 years old (original + one copy).
    • Police abstract (in original)
    • Fee US$ 64/- (Ordinary/first time lost– to be delivered on the 14th day)
    • Fee US$ 120/-(Urgent/first time lost – to be delivered on the next working day subject to confirmation from the issuing authority of the lost passport).


    Visa

    For Issuance of Visas

    1. Application form duly filled in along with passport copy and two passport size photographs.

    2. Applicant should apply in person or through relative/friend with authority letter.

    3. Applicant should be resident of Tanzania.

    4. Return air-ticket or ticket showing onward journey in case of transit visa.

    5. International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever.

    6. A letter from the employer/guardian.

    7. Employer’s letter and confirmed hotel booking in Pakistan in case of tourist visa

    8. A letter from the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Firm/Business Profile and Invitation Letter from the counterpart in Pakistan, if travelling for business purpose.

    9.. A note verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of concerned Mission in case of holding Diplomatic/Official Passport, if holding UN Laissez-Passer, a note verbale from UN office is required.

    10. Study visas are issued only on receipt of admission letter/No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Interior, Islamabad.

    11. When one parent is travelling with children, no objection from the other parent, in writing with copy of ID, is required.

    12. Fee Visit/tourist visa US$60/-, Business visa US$90/-.

    Note: Tourist/Business visas cannot be converted into work visa after entering into Pakistan.



    NICOP

    • Application form to be filled in neatly in black ink.

    • Copy of old Pakistani Identity Card.

    • Copy of RG-II/B form in case applicant is under 18 years.

    • Copy of Birth Registration Certificate in case of newly born child.

    • Copy of valid Pakistani passport.

    • Three latest passport size coloured photographs having light blue background.

    • Fee US$ 30/- for both adults and minors.

    • Payment should be made through a Bank draft in favour of NADRA, Pakistan or can be deposited in Habib African Bank, Dar-es-Salaam in Pakistan High Commission’s account.


    POC

    • Application form to be filled in neatly in black ink.

    • Three latest passport size coloured photographs having light blue background.

    • Photocopy of present valid passport of the applicant.

    • Photocopy of documentary evidence on which Pakistan origin is claimed.

    • Fee US$ 100/- for 18 years of age and above.

    • Fee US$ 50/- for children under 18 years of age.

    • Payment should be made through a Bank draft in favour of NADRA, Pakistan or can be deposited in Habib African Bank, Dar-es-Salaam in Pakistan High Commission’s account.
