Saima Sayed
Ms. Saima Sayed is currently Ambassador of Pakistan in Senegal with concurrent accreditation to Guinea-Bissau, The Gambia and Cabo Verde with residence in Dakar.
Ambassador Sayed joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2004. She has served the Ministry in Islamabad as Assistant Director (2005-2007), Deputy Director (2010-2011), Deputy Chief of Protocol (2011-2012) and Director (2018-2021).
She served as Director General from (January 2021- February 2023) and Deputy Spokesperson from (November 2022- February 2023) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She has held various diplomatic positions in Pakistan’s Missions abroad: Paris (2007-2010), New Delhi (2012-2015), and New York-UN (2015-2018).
Born in 1978. Holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She speaks Urdu, Punjabi, English and French.
She enjoys listening to music, painting and reading books and playing golf
