Acclaimed Argentine artist Mr.Adrián Bojko called on Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan at the Embassy, following his recent visit to Pakistan, where Mr. Adrián attended the World Culture Festival 2025 in Karachi.His abstract artwork was featured at the Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP) Karachi's Ahmed Pervez Art Gallery. During the meeting, Adrián spoke very highly of Pakistan, sharing his appreciation for the country’s rich cultural heritage, artistic diversity, and the warm hospitality he experienced throughout his stay. He particularly highlighted the vibrant creative energy of Karachi and the meaningful cultural exchanges that took place during the festival. His visit reflects the growing cultural ties between Pakistan and Argentina and underscores the important role of art and creative dialogue in strengthening people-to-people connections. Such engagements continue to build bridges between our nations and open new avenues for collaboration in the fields of art, design, and cultural diplomacy. Ambassador Khan reaffirmed Embassy of Pakistan's support for facilitating such meaningful cultural engagements and collaboration between the countries

It was a productive engagement where our delegates interacted directly with Bolivian and Argentine counterparts, explored opportunities for collaboration, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral trade. "Expanding Pakistan's🇵🇰 footprints in South America" Embassy of Pakistan in Buenos Aires in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized Pakistan-Argentina Business round/B2B event on 11-12th November 2025. The opening session was inaugurated by H.E Hassan Afzal khan, the Ambassador of Pakistan alongside the senior representatives from public & private sectors of Argentina . During the two days event , which was attended by 13 leading Pakistani companies and more than 220 businessmen from Argentina , around 250 structured B2B meetings were organized by the trade section of the embassy that resulted in to a number of confirmed commercial deals. The successful outcomes reflects the growing interest of Argentine buyers in high quality Pakistani products. This initiative marks a major step in unlocking new business opportunities between the countries.

Visit of Pakistan National Hockey Team to Argentina Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan was pleased to host the Pakistan National Hockey Team at the Embassy of Pakistan in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Pakistan 🇵🇰 Hockey Team arrived in Argentina on 3 December 2025 to participate in the FIH Pro League. During the tour, Pakistan will play four matches against Argentina and the Netherlands. While welcoming the players, the Ambassador congratulated them on qualifying for the Pro League and extended his best wishes for their upcoming matches. He also assured the team of the Embassy’s full support and facilitation throughout their stay in Argentina. Captain of the Pakistan Hockey Team, Mr. Ammad Shakeel Butt, appreciated the warm welcome and gesture extended by Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan.

An event was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Buenos Aires, on 27 October 2025 to observe Kashmir Black Day. Members of the Pakistani community, along with Argentine friends and local guests, attended the gathering to express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for the right to self-determination. The event highlighted the ongoing human rights situation in the region and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri cause.

On 01 September 2025, Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan delivered a speech on “Strengthening Pakistan’s Relations with Latin America” at an event organised by the General Secretariat of the Latin American Association of Asian and African Studies (ALADAA). Students from the National University of Chaco Austral (Chaco Province) and the Catholic University of Santiago del Estero (Santiago del Estero Province) attended the event. The 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Argentina were analysed, highlighting growth trends and opportunities to further strengthen ties. It was a pleasure to engage with the students and share positive vibes.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Argentina organized a "Friendly Football Match" between the Pakistan Embassy/Pakistani diaspora and Argentine friends as part of celebrations for the 78th Independence day of Pakistan, in Club excrusionistas , Buenos Aires on 14th August 2025. The event was well attended by more than 150 distinguished guests including diplomats, commercial counsellors, professional players, media persons, influencers, Pakistani community, Argentine friends and families, business community, Academia and chambers representatives. Made in Pakistan sports products like professional footballs , gloves and sports wear were also displayed during the event. During the match, both teams displayed excellent Football skills and team Pakistan won the match. At the closing ceremony, Ambassador handed over the trophy to the winning team, congratulated the Pakistani community on the independance day and thanked the Argentine friends for participation in the event. Later on , the guests were served with the traditional Pakistani cuisine offering taste of Pakistan's vibrant culinary heritage. This event also reflects the Embassy's continued efforts to promote Made in Pakistan products and highlight the business opportunities in Pakistan.

Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan accompanied by the Commercial Counsellor, visited the City of Las Varillas, Province of Cordoba, Argentina to attend a “Forum on Pakistan-Argentina Business relations”. The forum was attended by around 70 participants including Argentine mayors accomapnied by high level businessmen, government officials and media persons. A comprehensive presentation on Trade & Investment opportunities in Pakistan was made for the audience followed by a detailed Question/Answers session by the participants. During the visit, meetings with the Mayor of Las Varillas and management of Instituto Superior de Estudios Orientales (ISEO) headquarters were also held to discuss possible areas of collaboration.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Argentina in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Argentine Chamber of Commerce for Asia & Pacific (Camara del Asia), organised a productive webinar on Business opportunities in Textile & Leather sector of Pakistan & current import dynamics in Argentina.A large number of textile & leaher companies from both countries participated and expressed a lot of interest in stregthening collaborations for further enhancement of bilateral trade.

A student delegation belonging to Secundaria Privada Los Hornos School, La Plata ,Argentina visited the Embassy of Pakistan, as a part of their academic project , on 25th June 2025. The basic aim of the visit was to learn about the political, diplomatic, economic and trade dynamics of Pakistan.H.E Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan briefed the students in detail, about the cultural, political & diplomatic aspects of Pakistan and also about the bilateral relations between the countries. TIC gave the students an economic and trade overview and apprised them about the bilateral trade between the countries.The visit ended with the vote of thanks by the professor and group leader of the students.

Ambassador Hassan Afzal Khan visited the Republic of Chile, in the third week of June 2025, and had productive engagements with key stakeholders across government and private sector, to advance the bilateral trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Chile. Discussions with Mr. Jose Miguel Gonzalez, Minister Counsellor, Asia-Pacific Affairs Division, Mr. Pablo Urria, Head of the Department of Asia & Oceania, SUBREI, MOFA, Mr. Juan Pablo Candia , Head of Strategy and Corporate Management Division and Mr. Juan Pablo Garnica, Sector Leader -Global services and Digital Economy, InvestChile centered around enhancement of bilateral trade and investment through increased collaboration between the countries. During the interactions various issues related to visa issues, service delivery and cooperation in IT sector were also discussed at length. Detailed meetings were also held with the authorities of Chambers of commerce, Iquique Free Trade zone, ZOFRI and Mr. Jose Miguel Carvajal, Governor Tarapacá, Iquique, during which the way forward to increase business between the countries was discussed. Consular services were also provided to the Pakistani community by the consular team at Santiago and Iquique.

The Trade & Investment Counsellor , Argentina participated in a "Business negotiations round " organised by the Regional chamber of Commerce & Industry of Lamos de Zamora ( an industrial hub) in Argentina, in collaboration with the Muncipality of Lomas de zamora and ACACE ( Association of commercial counsellors in Argentina) During the event, productive exchange meetings with various multisectoral Argentine companies were held , wherein , they were briefed about the potential export sectors and business opportunities available in Pakistan.The companies expressed a lot of interest in exploring Pakistans textiles, sports , pink salt and plastics market.

Held a number of productive exchange meetings with the leading mining sector companies and chambers... The discussion focused on potential collaboration opportunities in the field of mining industry aiming to strengthen trade & investment ties between Pakistan and Argentina. Opportunities available for inestment and joint ventures in mining and mineral sectors of Pakistan were presented to them.

The event was arranged for the Pakistani diaspora residing in South America i.e; Argentina , Chile , Uruguay , Paraguay , Ecuador and Peru.
